Simba is voted ‘PAT Dog of the Year 2008’

Simba, a Leonberger, has been voted national charity Pets As Therapy’s ‘PAT Dog of the Year 2008’.
Simba and his owner, Ann Burrell from Harrogate are regular visitors to patients and residents at a local hospice, care home, residential home and stroke group, and spend time working with children suffering from debilitating animal-related phobias.
Simba was chosen by a celebrity panel and the readers of Yours magazine.  He won £500, three months’ supply of HiLife food and a specially engraved piece of crystal.
Five runners-up each won £100, a month’s supply of HiLife food and a specially engraved piece of crystal.Â
