A revamp for most of our HiLife dog pouch range brings them under the ‘Special Care Smaller Dog’ banner.  With it comes more clarity at the point of purchase for our customers and a number of significant product improvements.

We have replaced the six 300g pouches in the Senior Dog multipack with eight 150g pouches.  The product has been rebranded HiLife Special Care Senior - Original Selection.  Glucosamine, Chondroitin and Omega 3 and 6 (from natural fish oil) have been added to the recipes for help with joint mobility and general well-being.  We understand this improvement to the formulation makes it an important first among pouch products formulated specifically for older dogs.   Â

HiLife Special Care Adult has replaced HiLife Adult Chicken Choices multipack, with the varieties remaining the same.

The HiLife Puppy pouches multipack has now become HiLife Special Care Puppy - Poultry Selection and comprises new and improved recipes: Chicken Recipe with Rice, Chicken & Lamb Recipe with Rice and Chicken & Liver Recipe with Rice.

 HiLife Prestige remains unchanged.

 Why the changes?

 The changes reflect an overwhelming demand expressed by purchasers in recent research.  “With so many brands, varieties and niche sectors available, customers tell us they are often left bewildered at the choice facing them on the shelves, especially when they are looking for a product specific to their dog, whether by size or age,� explains Peter Parkinson, Marketing Director for Town & Country Petfoods.

“We put all kinds of variants to customers.  The new names are more descriptive than before and they offer exactly the clarity customers wanted.  ‘Special Care’ was also widely known, trusted and liked for its association with our chews range.

“And true to the ‘Special Care’ name, we understand the new Senior product is now the only food for older dogs to contain Glucosamine, Chondroitin and Omega 3 and 6 to help joint mobility.�
